Lead Pastor and Creative Architect of a growing community of believers at Renaissance Church
located in the greater Sacramento region in California. Julian has a passion
for creativity, innovation, leadership, outreach and evangelism, mentoring, the
arts, reading and teaching the bible.
He’s known for his unique story telling in communicating God’s truth.
He’s passion and hunger to press into the Father’s heart is inspirational.

Fifteen years of wide ranging ministry
experience, serving as a leader inside and outside the Christian community,
speaking in schools, universities, law firms, organizational leadership teams,
community leaders and others. Julian is a visionary leader, passionate
communicator and Bible teacher with a love for the arts, using story telling,
poetry, currents events, and/or a good laugh to challenge the status quo when he
speaks and leads. He believes that followers of Christ should be, “…the most
uniquely passionate, creative carriers of hope, to a world that is desperate
for Jesus.”

Julian
received his ministerial degree from Capital Bible College in Sacramento, CA
and his Ordination through the Assemblies of God. He attended Cornerstone
University and completed a nine month community leadership program designed to connect
leaders (ranging from business, non-profits and government) empowering
participants with a comprehensive understanding of our community’s challenges
and opportunities, providing a broader knowledge of the community and their
role as community trustees. In the fall of 2003, Julian graduated from the
Compass Arts Academy Film School in Grand Rapids, Michigan, appearing as an
actor in several short films, plays and commercials. He served as a certified
trainer by the Woodrick Diversity Learning Center located in Grand Rapids,
Michigan on addressing the healing of racism and the oneness of humanity.

Julian has served in ministry along
side his wife for nearly 16 years. Julian and his wife, Tiffany, reside in
Roseville, CA with their three beautiful daughters, named Diara (13), Kirah
(11) and Raina (8). He often states, that by living in a ‘all female’ environment,
he’s learned to do what he’s told, be quick in the bathroom and that he doesn’t
have the fashion sensibility and awareness he thought he did. But it’s okay:…he
has his leading ladies to help him.

Francis Anfuso and his
twin brother, Joseph, were born in 1949 in Brooklyn, NY, one year prior to
their father being elected to the first of six terms in the United States
Congress. But their father’s absorbing career left little time for his
family. They could merely watch from the sidelines as their Dad’s
attention was wholly given to the work and prestige of being a famous,
influential person.

Though Francis felt lost in his family life and Catholic upbringing, God had
not lost track of him. His First Communion, at age six, took place on,
May 14, 1955. Seventeen years later, to the day, Francis received Jesus
as Lord and Savior. His godly mother’s intercessory prayers had finally
caught up with him.

He became a
born again Christian in 1972 in a little church in Smartsville, California,
where he and his new bride, Suzie, later pastored a Christian community called Morning
Star.

From 1981 to
1997 Francis had a full time traveling ministry speaking and conducting
training seminars in churches and Christian conferences in 10 nations. He is
the founder of Christian Equippers Int’l and 21st Century
Ministries. He has developed textbooks, booklets, tracts, seminars, music
albums, and training courses for Christians throughout the world.

During their almost twenty years of traveling the
world, Francis and Suzie ministered to thousands of people in hundreds of
churches. They witnessed healthy churches as well as many unhealthy
churches. It created in them a hunger for something more.

In 1997, he was sent out as Senior Pastor to establish
The Rock of Roseville (http://www.rockofroseville.org/) outside
of Sacramento, California. Out of their
travel experiences, they developed the “7 Rock Values,” which exemplify the
values they found in the healthiest churches. Thousands have visited The Rock
and been touched by the Spirit of God and countless lives have been
changed.

Francis and Suzie have been married over 30 years and
have twin daughters, Deborah and Havilah, who have provided their parents with
four wonderful grandchildren! It is
their joy to serve together as a family in ministering to, loving, and
encouraging God’s people at the rock.

He received an award from Bryce for being one of the students who took the longest to graduate (7years). His excuse is that he was busy in ministry and raising a family. Originally from El Salvador, Cesar has been a Pastor and church planter in the Bay Area for 25 years. He cooperated with the Holy Spirit in planting a Latino church in the SJCC gym, this church has now multiplied into ten new churches, including three in Mexico. He served for 14 years with CityTeam Ministries, facilitating disciple-making and church planting by equipping leaders in the U.S. and internationally in Cuba and El Salvador.

Two years ago, following a painful identity crisis, the Lord called Cesar to live in passionate intimacy with Him and to lead others to do the same. He is currently the Executive Director of Harbor House, an inner-city youth ministry dedicated to leadership development in the city of Oakland. Cesar has been happily married to Patty and they have three children and live in San Jose, California.

This is convenient when trying on cowboy hats, because he can claim Texan status without actually having to deal with the baggage that comes along with an actual Texan upbringing (ranching, roping, rustling, and all that jazz).

Darin grew up in Phoenix, AZ where he learned to wear long pants in 120 degree weather, apply sunscreen without blotching, and avoid the dreaded venom of the Gila monster. For a couple of years he lived like a tamborineless gypsy, roaming incessantly back and forth across the highways and byways of America in the band, everybodyduck. Then he did some missions work with mountain people in the Sierra Nevadas, as the Program Director of Hume Lake Christian Camps and founder of the Joshua Wilderness Institute. Now he lives in Long Beach where he still wears long pants and sunscreen but almost never thinks about Gila monsters. He is currently a teaching pastor at First Baptist Church of Lakewood, and weekly host of Frank the Podcast, a humorous and irreverent look at life informed by faith.
